| Thomas
Moser Cabinetmakers is guided by our mission to build furniture
that celebrates the natural beauty of wood; is of simple, unadorned,
graceful line; and is crafted for a long, useful life. A
thread runs through Thos. Moser furniture that ties the discipline
of classic Japanese joinery to the sentimentality of the Arts
and Crafts movement of a century ago. It also ties the
untutored aesthetics of the American Shaker peirod of the 1830’s
and 40’s to the sophisticated and urbane German Bauhaus
of the 1920’s.
Thos Moser is pleased to announce the introduction of a new
line of elegant and timeless hand knotted rugs by Marcia Weese
of Weese+Design. Inspired by her mid-western roots, THE
PRAIRIE COLLECTION is comprised of ten patterns—Prairie,
Ripple, Grain, Flora, Wind, Root, Pool, Net, Stem, Rain.
Available in a rich palette of 20 wools and 6 silks, or any
custom color, these rugs are woven by Tibetan weavers, some of
the finest weavers in the world, from 100% Tibetan wool with
silk accents at 100 knots per square inch. Order
any size up to 22’ wide x 25’ long. Extremely
durable with high lanolin content, this collection of rugs makes
an exquisite compliment to the Thos Moser furniture line.
THE PRAIRIE COLLECTION will be available in any of our 6 showrooms
and through our catalogue by December 2006.
